Dot VN, Inc. Achieves Vietnamese IDN Registration Historic Milestone; Retains The Eversull Group for IR/PR; Announces Mr. Thuy Le Nguyen to Company’s Strategic Advisory Board; Signs Agreement with CSC Digital Brand Services

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA--April 21, 2015--Dot VN, Inc., (www.DotVN.com) (OTCPK: DTVI), the pioneer Internet domain name registrar (www.VN) for the Country of Vietnam  and the exclusive registrar for the Vietnamese Native Language Internationalized Domain Names (“Vietnamese IDN”), announced today  an update on the Company’s recent activity.

Previously on April 28, 2010, the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (”VNNIC”) granted Dot VN, Inc. an exclusive contract as both the co-registry and exclusive registrar marketing the Vietnamese IDN worldwide at a time when fewer than 3,500 IDNs had been registered.  During August 2014, the Company was able to accomplish the historic milestone of increasing Vietnamese IDN registrations to over 1,000,000 which now makes Vietnam the fastest growing native language domain ccTLD in the world.  Dot VN is in the process of working with VNNIC to monetize the Vietnamese IDN traffic of nearly 3,000,000 unique visitors per month.

Corporate Services Company and CSC Digital Brand Services); the world’s leading provider of corporate domain name management and brand-protection services providing preferred solutions for more than 90% of the Fortune 500®.  The new contract allows CSC to integrate the 600+ .VN domain names previously registered by IP Mirror directly with VNNIC under its reseller contract with the Company.

The Ceremony of One Millionth Vietnamese Native Language Domain Name Registered Successful.
The celebration was held at the Ministry of Information and Communications Headquarters
in Hanoi (08/25/2014)

(Mic.gov.vn) Afternoon of 25/08/2014, at the headquarters of the Minister of Information and Communications, Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) in collaboration with HI-TEK (DOT VN) held a ceremony to celebrate the milestone of the millionth Vietnamese Native language domain name (IDN) successful registration.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Le Nam Thang “Thanked the efforts of VNNIC and HI-TEK (DOT VN) in developing the large number of Vietnamese domain names. The Deputy Minister emphasized, with the number of Vietnamese IDN now over one million, which is a significant result, marked a new development of Vietnam Internet; giving users tools to promote Vietnam's products with pure contents and greatly enhance communications to develop long-term values of Vietnam ethnic and culture on the global Internet.”

Deputy Minister Le Nam Thang “stated in the near future, VNNIC needs to resolve some extended issues and adjust the Vietnamese domain registration fee to avoid domain name speculators, prepare a master plan review and evaluate the five year period from 2011 to 2015, and prepare an action plan for the next stage to improve the quality of IDN services. Looking ahead VNNIC needs to study the collection of IDN registration fees to offset costs for agency management and domain name service provider.
